Come out and have fun meeting and working with your neighbors from all parts of West Chester by helping clean up the Barclay Grounds!

When: Saturday, October 17th, from 12 pm – 3 pm

Where: The Barclay Grounds – corner of Marshall & High Streets

What needs to get done:

• Pruning
• Weeding
• Clear invasive vines from trees and shrubs
• Trash clean up
• Plant bulbs
• Picking up sticks and branches

We will serve refreshments (water, sodas and apples) for our volunteers.

We are asking our volunteers to bring their own tools (gloves, rakes, shovels, brooms, bulb trowels, loppers, pruners).

We love kids and want them to come and help, but are asking the parents to be responsible for their own children. We have several jobs we think the kids will enjoy helping with.

If you are allergic to bees or poison ivy, please, make sure to bring your epi pen and benadryl. Please, also let us know in advance, so that we can make sure to assign you to a safe spot.
